Often we are blinded by someone’s brilliance and fail to see that they have
overcome what to many others are insurmountable hurdles. This is because we see
them for what they are rather than for what they were…
History and life is filled with people who have overcome amazing obstacles to
achieve exceptional things. For example, what do the following people have in
common…

Thomas Edison, Cher, Walt Disney, Richard Branson, Jay Leno, Whoopi Goldberg,
Ted Turner and the incomparable Winston Churchill.
Before I let you into their common gift, let me share the wisdom of Denis
Waitley, probably my favourite modern day philosopher:
"It's not what you are that holds you back, it's what you think you're not."
And what is the common factor of these famous achievers?
…they are or were all dyslexic!

Each of these famous successful people, in achieving their success needed to
read a lot. Do you know how hard it is for a dyslexic person to read?
But not a single one of those great people let dyslexia keep them from being all
they were created to be.
When young people struggle with reading they lose self esteem because so much of
life revolves around what is supposedly a simple skill.
The lack of self esteem consigns many to mediocrity when in fact we have all the
skills we need to achieve greatness, we just need other skills to unlock our
true gifts.

P.S. What's
the bet that you don't know how deep the world's deepest manmade hole is?? I
knew it - you don't have any idea do you? Well the deepest hole ever made by
humans is in Kola Peninsula in Russia, was completed in 1989, creating a hole
12,262 meters (7.6 miles) deep. You should be able to answer at least one
quiz question with that piece of trivia!
P.P.S. You probably don't know the Amazon rainforest produces more
than 20% the world's oxygen supply. The Amazon River pushes so
much water into the Atlantic Ocean that, more than 160 kilometres or one
hundred miles at sea off the mouth of the river, one can dip fresh water out
of the ocean. The volume of water in the Amazon river is greater than the
next eight largest rivers in the world combined and three times the flow
of all rivers in the United States.

Hi Wayne
Today I was reminded how much we have to celebrate in 2008 -
Great healing for many from the sorry statement
Signs of a new integrity and truth in government.
Environmental consciousness & action accelerating.
There are powerful changes afoot - so thanks for your positive thoughts - and
remember to celebrate in 2008.

Hello Wayne,
I have just read through the colours and numbers segment.
When I add up my birthday I get 30, which then becomes 3. I am definitely a
three according to the personality, but if I wear yellow, I look sick.
O also don't like being surrounded with yellow "things" or paint, and a yellow
room certainly does nothing for me, so how does this work?
I am more vibrant in red, and I am a force to be reckoned with, especially when
I wear red.
