Ever wondered what colour is your success?
Spiritmail  February 12th, 2008

As I get more mature - I was going to say "older" but that would not be true - I seem to find more interest in the gentler arts of  business. So, when it came to finding out what was the best colour for a new business someone very close to me was setting up, I sought out the advice of Suzanne Hammond.

Names and Numbers by Suzanne HammondSuzanne is one unusual lady being the Director of Tall Poppy Excellence and It’s a Numbers Game, she is a writer, was formerly Private Investigator, is now a Professional Speaker and Workshop Facilitator, and for good measure is Feature Film script writer. Did I also mention Suzanne is  Numerologist and Naming Analyst, Lifestyle Coach, Business Woman, and International Author with a series of five Numerology Books just released internationally. Phew... that makes me tired just thinking about it.

I asked Suzanne to let me know how colours and numbers affect the chance of success in business. Her is what she sent me.

The Power Of Numbers And Colours

Ever wondered how colour and numbers can change your world in business and in your personal life? You can tell a lot from the colour a person is wearing and what colour is positive or negative when planning your business colours. Colour is all around you and can make your day feel good or can depress you if you are surrounded by dismal colours. A brief understanding of colour can make all the difference when you are living in a "coloured" environment as colour speaks all languages.

The M.I.D.A.S. Personality Profiling Program gives you tips on how to identify personalities by colour and numbers, what you have to offer your partners and how to analyse the colours that are important in the workplace.

Simply add your birth date up until you get one single digit.

                 Eg; 21st May 1950 = 21+5+1+9+5+0 = 41. 4 + 1 = 5

When you get a single digit, look for the corresponding digit beside the initials M.I.D.A.S. eg:

M = 5 and 1 Red Personalities
I = 2 Green Personalities
D = 4 and 8 Blue Personalities
A = 7 and 9 Purple Personalities
S = 3 and 6 Yellow Personalities

The Red "M" Group 5’s and 1’s
M. The 5 and 1 RED Personalities are Multi-talented, versatile, imaginative, adaptable and changeable. They have the ability to adapt to change and thrive on love and romance in their lives. The ‘M’ people make interesting and challenging employers and are innovative and open-minded. They react to stress by being over-nervous and rebellious, also can over-stress by being critical and rejecting rules.

The Power Of Red and the number 1 and 5

Red is the colour of blood and Valentines. It promotes passion and enthusiasm. Red people are happiest when they are entertaining others; they like to take risks and are keen to try new ideas. Easily bored, but are charming, playful, spontaneous and talkative people who like being the centre of attention. They love recognition and have a need to be liked. Others may see them as unfocused procrastinators who make up the rules as they go along in life.

The flower = The RED Carnation

Red can be used effectively in places where people are suffering from lack of intuition or melancholy. Red focuses attention, stimulates action and also warns of danger in your life.

Watchword: Freedom.

The "I" Group. Green 2’s

I. 2 personalities are Intuitive, considerate, patient, and dependable and are ideal mediators in the workplace. They react to a negative atmosphere and are frustrated with disorder. These people may become the subservient or support partners and that’s okay as long as they are happy. The greens can be very shy and may sit back and wait for people to approach them. They love everybody and the community is important to the ‘I’s as they like to believe they have contributed to bringing joy to others.

The Power Of Green

Green people create a feeling of rest and relaxation. People wearing green feel they have the ability to heal their insecurities. Green rules the heart and bestows feelings of brotherhood. Green soothes the nerves and helps sleep and green people like what money and power can give them, but they need to watch the inflated ego. Green is the balance point between Yin and Yang. Red, orange and yellow are Yang Blue, indigo and indigo are Yin.

Watchword: Service

The Blue "D" Group 4's and 8's

D. Personalities are Dominant, materialistic, structured, independent, powerful, routine people who like to know there is room for advancement in a relationship or the workplace. They want to get on with the job of planning a future. These people like to be remembered for their strength of character and they love to brag about their accomplishments. These people are the organisers and leaders in the workplace, but at times, may become too aggressive or lack direction if not thinking positively.

The Power Of Blue Group

Blue is the colour of the ocean and explorers have long been pioneers on the ocean and in space and their characteristics match this style. They love to see the “big picture”, take risks and take charge. Goal orientated people, the blue groups may have many friends. Blue people are motivated by change and competition but they can be impatient, abrupt and selective in their choice of friends. Blue gives the impression that they are restful, quiet, gentle, content patience, composed, loyal, devoted, vigilant and reasonable.

Watchword: Leadership

The "A" Group. 7’s And 9’s

A. Personalities are Analytical, humanitarian, investigative, trustworthy, reserved and perfectionists. Very selective with relationships, they are often single until that special person comes into their life. The 7’2 and 9’s are very ethical personalities with integrity and a healthy attitude towards their partner and family. They may spend too much time analysing their partners that they forget to have fun in their relationship. They work best alone but can take direction.

The Power Of Purple

The vibration of purple symbolises spirituality, realization, meditation and relaxation centres. A very creative colour and violet enhances your imagination and creativity in a relationship. People who have an interest in acting, art, music etc, are assisted by the colour purple. Purple may need a little green or lemon to lighten the mood and give you a very spiritual feeling of love and protection.

Watchword: Investigation

The Yellow "S" Group 3’s And 6’s

S. Personalities are Spiritual, expressive, responsible, affectionate and family orientated. They dislike being in an environment that is not offering personal expression and people contact. Put these people in front of an audience and they will perform perfectly. Fine detail and freedom of expression is important to the ‘S’ people. These people belong to every social club in existence and are usually the matchmaker. They never have a shortage of friends as they welcome new people into their life with their attitude to life and their sense of humour.

The Power Of Yellow

Yellow is fantastic in a rumpus room or study as it stimulates the mind and creativity. Combined with purple or violet, it creates spirituality, joy and stimulation. If you are feeling depressed, wear yellow and stimulate the emotions and intellect. It is great colour for mental stimulation and assists nervous exhaustion. Yellow stimulates and activates the body, mind and spirit.

Watchword: Expression

So there you have it. Colours are important when you think about being successful in business. If you want to know more contact Suzanne at www.suzannehammond.com

P.S.  If you have been following my journey through the languages who will not be surprised that we have now reached the point where only one language can be number one. With over 1 billion natural speakers and a very more hundreds of millions of dialects, Mandarin is the most widely spoken language on the planet.

P.P.S.  You probably don't know that speaking Mandarin can be really tough even for the Chinese, because each word can be pronounced in four ways (or "tones"), and a beginner will invariably have trouble distinguishing one tone from another.

Try saying hello! To say "hello" in Mandarin, say "Ni hao" (Nee HaOW). ("Hao" is pronounced as one syllable, but the tone requires that you let your voice drop midway, and then raise it again at the end.)

MAVERICK QUOTE OF THE DAY

"The man who removes a
mountain begins by carrying
away small stones."

Chinese proverb

Samuel Maverick (1803-70) Texan rancher who, when branding of stock was introduced chose "Not to Brand." Every unbranded horse or cow he then claimed as a Maverick!

Feedback:   It's stinking hot today in Perth... after 50mm of rain last Thursday, which is TWICE the yearly average for January and February, it feels great to be back to normal ( if you call nearly 40 normal )

There is a mixed bag of feedback today - and some of it is quite thought provoking.

If you feel you have something to share please let me know...

So here is today's instalment of  comments from Maverick Spiriters.

Hi Wayne
How perfect is 'The Stranger', that electronic box that I was lucky  enough never to have had as a child growing up in Western Australia.

I rode my bike through the bush instead, or played with my friends, or read - and read - and read. I was always entertained, and never lonely even as an only child. Thank you for the stark reminder of how insidious television is and how wary we need to be that we avoid being addicted to it.

Hi Wayne.

On the subject of Big Dreams, did you ever read "The Magic of Thinking big" by W. Clement Stone ?

He was the founder of the Combined Insurance Company of America. As an incentive to his sales force he often used the phrases:

"Think one hundred dollars, sell one hundred dollars.
Think one million dollars, sell one million dollars."

What you set your mind to you will achieve.

And the one I really like,

"It takes no more mental effort to think of a way to make a million dollars than it does to think of a way to make one hundred dollars, but the queue for a hundred dollars is much longer because most people don’t think like millionaires."

I never quite made the million dollars, but the concept helped me over reach many times and do better than I would of without that gem.

If you haven’t read old Clem’s book I recommend it.

Regards Bob.

And more on Sharing dreams

Wayne

Reading your dreams and aspirations has given me a new lease on life. I will go out now and find someone who sees my business as I do and hopefully solve my financial crisis. I will make enough noise in the market place to awaken every giant and be once again the largest wholesaler this country and others have seen.

I will do it with grace dignity and compassion qualities my competitors don’t have. I would also like to share my struggle with others to show them that no matter how down you are there is always someone to pick you up and guide you back to your dreams, and hopefully teach other not to make the mistakes I made.

And my own goal of seminar in 100 cities looks much closer following this email from the UK:

Wayne

I know you have many seminars, workshops, training packages, etc., that would be valuable to clients in the UK. This, combined with my interest in life-coaching, my cousin runs her own company in London, could be a very beneficial opportunity for both of us....and allow me to achieve my dream of working from home as my own boss and spend more time with my newly born baby boy.

Kind regards and thanks for your time.

David
